* Dec. 10 Hamilton came from North Family to remain & make his home here.
Wed Three great loads ofhousehold goods today from North. Visitors from PittsfieldShakers
brought them giftof 6 bbls. apples but Eld Anna gave them some beans & canned goods.

11 Dec Men all busy drawing split wood from NF
Byron busy moving "North Family's plunder." 1 received a Xmas box from Eld. Ellen in Ohio.

12 Dec Several loads of furniture fromNF in a.m. Men drawing split wood from NF in p.m. Lucy
busy all day at NF helping them move.

13 Dec "At lastthe North Family came bag & baggage to stay this afternoon at 2 p.m. Hugo
Sat went with auto for aged sistersLavina Dutcher & Isabelle White and Hattie Coburn (a
foolish minded young woman). Jennie Wells, Ella Winship & Byron (Hattie's brother) came
in the spring wagon. They all ate supper at their new abode tonight except Hamilton &
Byron who ate with the family."
Also a little girl. Marguerite Putnam, came with NF

take breakfasts and suppers at the Shop this winter and their dinner with family.

15 Dec Ella & Jennie busy at North all finishing up. Susan looked after old folks & tended store.

16 Dec Jennie & Ella busy all day at NF. I made 14 loaves of bread, 11 huckleberry pies.

17 Dec I made 11 apple pies,

19 Dec School closed with a Xmas tree & entertainment at 2 p.m. Our family all their. Children
spoke, sang, danced & Eld Anna furnished presents for them all, also candy, fruit and
popcorn.

20 Dec I made 12 loaves bread, 8 Ig. apple pies, 10 loaf cakes.

22 Dec ! made 4 hickory nut layer cakes, cracked & picked nuts myself - 2 quarts.

23 Dec Made 12 Ig loaves bread, 11 elderberry pies. Mary, Grace & girls Xmas decorating
meeting room. Mary made Xmas plum pudding. Eld Anna, Freida & Susan very busy in
store with shooers and orders to go out.

24 Dec Gave our gifts around after supper, to be opened In a.m.

25 Dec All received gifts galore from each other. Family red. boxes of oranges of Mrs. Taylor
of Albany and Elder | Josiah, 4 Victrola records from Albany music store, 3 records from
Eld Anna's niece Edna Frank, 1 record from Mrs. Rochester in Albany, basket of fruits
& nuts from Mrs. Archland Dedrick of Loudonville. Had oysters & plum pudding for dinner,
peach sauce and hickory nut cake. Entertainment in evening -Angel ine Cox, Barbara
Hooper, Harriet Jones, Julia McNally, EllaBenedict, Adelaide Ingham & Elder Josiah
came from Church "Family.
