6 Sept Geo. Duncan was taken to Pavilion F for observation. Seems to be in somewhat violent
& abusive state f -- temporarily insane. He is abusive to sisters withlow/ vulgar talk. "
Mayy's ear still giving her much trouble - both Dr. Lothridge &/or Dr. Gifford call to
see her almost every day.
14 Sept Mary much better.
15 Sept Eld Caroline & Lucy made corn relish.

17 Sept Elder Walter Shepherd here to see Eld Anna re. Geo. Duncan as she does not want him in
this family again and that is the way the family in general feel about it. Eld Caroline &
Lucy canned plums and sweet cucumber pickles.

20 Sep Elder Walter & Frederick here to dinner from Mr. Lebanon. Have come to take Geo. Duncan
from hospital in Albany to North Family at Mt. Lebanon. Elder Walter has promised to
look after him. <*
Hugo showed Byron about the mill atthe laundry/ hereafter Byron will run it in Geo*
Duncan's place.

24 Sept Geo. Dahm took old arch kettle out of dining room and cemented and bricked up chimney
where itstood.

25 Sept Eld Carol ine, Luc^y & Mary canned 3 bu. peaches.

26 Sept Ella Winship has cast off her leg.

27 Sept Men took 3 wagonloads & 2 truckloads of furniture to railroad car for Mr. Spring.
Eld Anna & Jennie to NF & ChF to make itemized 1 ists of what went.

3 Oct Hugo took Caroline, Lucy & others to aviation field in Loudonville to see exhibition.

7 Oct Eld Anna to Albany to get little girlnamed Martha Mailander, 5 yrs old, to make her
home here.

14 Oct Eld Anna, Eld Caroline & Lucy go to Latham in evening to see Mr* Ratsliff. Lucy appointed
School Collector.

16 Oct Hugo took Eld Anna & other Brooks girls toNo. Adams to visit girls' relatives. Eleanor
decided to stay.

17 Oct Martha Mailander's parents came in afternoon, (to see her)

21 Oct Jennie & Marguerite to Albany & Troy to see about a brace for Marguerite's leg.

24 Oct Mary Dahm has sprained ankle.

26 Oct Hugo took Dr. Lothridge, Ella Winship & Jennie to Albany to see Dr. Elting about Ella's
leg. He told her to come home & exercise so she walked to the Office for the firsttime.
