23 Jan. El .Anna & Caroline to the Chh with Maples and Metzner about the sale.
20 Jan. Sometime this week El. Walter went to Florida.
25 Jan. Elder Walter home from Florida and phones for El .Anna & Caroline to meet him
at the Stanwix in Albany.
26 Jan. El . Anna & Caroline go to Albany to meet El . Walter. EzrcFis re leased, from
trusteeship in Florida.
29 Jan. El . Walter here to supper. Goes over to Chh. No sign of a sale because all the
sisters pullapart.
30 Jan. We work on towels all the time - 102 finished sets to date.
31 Jan. Mr. Maples here in the evening. 'Conference about the saleof the Chh family
property.
2 Feb. Hugo goes to P.M. (powerhouse) for Ministry. They have supper here & beds too.
3 Feb. El . Arthurand El . Walter corned from Lebanon. El . Arthurvisits us an houror more .

Sunday Maples came to see Ministry p.m. Help figure up the Chh acct forthe year.
4 Feb. Nearly $15/000 expenses and over $2000 income.
5 Feb. El . Walter & Arthur go to Albany and back.
6 Feb. El . Walter & Arthur go to Chh, they spend p.m. there, bring back large box of
deeds/ maps/ etc.

11 Feb. We look over El .Josiah's papers, ancient and modern. Metzner wishes to know
about the insurance at the Chh.
16 Feb. "The Strobels away with the horse, home at 10 p.m. We sisters may as well live
in the desert for allthe association or change we have. "
18 Feb. Very cold and windy. "My room is down to 40 all the time. Our fire makes
no impression. "
21 Feb. All the children take sleighride to Cohoes to get wash cloths -600 or 10 boxes of
5 doz. each .
