1 Nov. ' Go to Chh and help move A . B . & B.H. Clear their room and bring beds and they
move down and sleep in their new quarters. Ministry sisters come in p.m.

2 Nov. Wash and hang curtains for Chh sisters. Ministry sisters go over to Chh a.m. Abbie &
I go over and pack a few dishes. Carry Adelaide's clock down to her room in good
order.

5 Nov. (/Hugo, Byron, Schenk, El .Anna, Lucy & Ministry sisters go over toChh and move
Adelaide's things and bring her over to remain with us p.m. and still there's more
to follow.

10 Nov. Abbie, Lucy, Hugo & Byron to the Chh for large and small stoves and some junk.

20 Nov. Sbhenk piles manure around the houses to keep out frost- very unsanitary.

28 Nov. Carol ine cooks cranberries, Mary & girls pick 2 turkeys - 27 Ibs. dressed,

29 Nov. "Attend radio services, splendid music & singing (Episcopal). Have sumptuous
Thanksgvg dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, raw cabbage, cranberry sauce,
pumpkin pie. Louise goes with her mother at noon - not a desirable child. "

Sunday Attend radio service a.m. and p.m., both splendid . Dr. & Mrs. Kelly and 2 friends
2 Dec. stop a moment; friends come for Mrs. Sprague; several other parties here; the Sages
pay a bill of $65 or more forfurniture and $25 in the store. "

5 Dec, Ithas rained all day but stillthe autos come. Man buys ironing room stove $5.00.
Deborah very feeble.

6 Dec. ^Mary and Grace watched with Deborah lastnight.

8 Dec. Several customers here today; one lady bought $35 worth. Barbara very ill, Dr. L.
comes tosee her.

9 Dec. Deborah kept her watchers busy last night, is tired and dulltoday.

10 Dec. '/Deborah is stillbreathing.

12 Dec. vDr. here, Deborah still about the same, has watchers all the time.

13 Dec. Boston Store in Schdy burns - $500,000 loss. Deborah stilllives.

Dec . 15 ^Deborah Knight died from infirmitiesof age 9 .a .m .Undertaker comes at 10:30
and embalms her; have dinner here. Lucy goes to Chh with program for funeral .

16 Dec. Have singing rehearsal after supper. Hugo goes for casket a.m.

17 Dec. v Memorial service for Deborah. Sing "Beautiful Valley, City of Light, 1 willrise
and go . . .,There's a crown . "
