16 May Dr. Kelly in a .m.to see Tiny/ leaves medicine/ she has , jnflamation ofthe bowels.

19 May Tiny takes a worm capsule and vomits it/ takes again & vomits it. Bowels move
15 times.

21 May Schenk's brother killed by a horse.

25 May Mr. Wood cares for horses today/ polishes harness etc.

30 May I/A lady told us they saw a truckload of furniture leave the Chh today.

31 May Hugo to Albany; brings home cod liver oil and tonic for Tiny.

2 June Mary has 175 chickens/ two bunches of geese and a third one coming.

3 June Mr. Enos takes a truckload of furniture; everything is sold to Mr. Enos.

9 June Girls have a frolic with Tiny and then all go fishing to the pond.

14 June El . Waltercomes to secure Caroline's signature to the final payment of the Enfield
property/ originally $100/000 but increased greatly by the payment of interest from
1914 to 1924.

24 June v El . Anna/ Gertrude/ Victoria and Maatha and Abbie to Albany. G. gets white
shoes/ stocking/- gloves and hat for- the firstgreat event of her life.

25 June All the family go in truck to the graduation. Gertrude is dressedlike the queen of
the May. El . Anna goes with Abbie to the hospital for an examination.

26 June ^1 . Anna & Abbie to the hospitral for x-ray.

1 July Mary & Mabel in Albany/ get hnapkins, wax paper & paper dishes for the picnic
on the 4th.

2 July Kill and pick 8 chickens.

3 July Mary and girls work to cook chickens and prepare for 4th.

4 July Have picnic. About 40 guests come. Fireworks begin at 3 and finish at 10.
Lunch served in boxes.

5 July Telephone to Dr. Kelly about Tiny. She must go in Monday and stay at kennel

7 July E! . Anna and Lucy take our darl ing Tiny to Dr. Kelly to be spayed.

17 July Lightning strikes Albany Power House; trolleysstop at 7:30 a.m. and stand until
2:30 p.m. Hugo takes Mabel & Lucy to Dr. K e l l y ' s to get Tiny.
Mary puts up
138 glasses cuncant jelly.
