3 Feb.&4 Dr. Lothridge sees Carol ine

5 Feb. A/Dr. Gordinier here with Dr. L. from Troy to see Caroline. Charges $20.

6 Feb. Teacher has a ferHble fracas with the boy Henry Schenk. Pummels him in the snow.
No school in p.m. Teacher stays in schoolroom until after 5 p.m.

8 Feb. Folks visitCaroline who remains in bed most of the time.

9 Feb. Teacher here again buf not much humiliated.

10 Feb. i/El.Anna takes Caroline to the home hospital, organized by Dr. SHllman, to remain
two weeks at $3.14 per day.

13 Feb. l/More crystalsets installed. We now have nine on this farm. El. Anna to see
Caroline, takes hereto see Dr. Hart then up to the sanatorium. C. prefers the
Stillman hospital .

Feb . 2 5 . Anna to Albany all day, takes Carol ine to a sanatorium. Carol ine pays $44
at the nurses home, and sees a nerve specialist.

Feb . 26 Give El . Anna $20 due from Caroline and send $25 to C. in Albany.

27 Feb. Teacher gets angry at the cold schoolroom and goes home, so do all the children.
Pay Mrs. Truax $100.

Feb . 28 Girls buy a crystal set for El . Anna .


2 March ^l . Anna goes to Albany and brings Ca id I ine home.

3 March Jul ia not getting along well , been in bed nearly 5 weeks.

5 March Hazel , our littlenurse, arrives this p.m. and goes on duty immediately (taking care
of Julia). Dr. L. here very day.

8 March Carol ine has lots of visitors and
I have lots of barks. (Lucy and Carol ine, both former
members of Enfield Family, apparently live together over a shop or somewhere other
than the main dwelling).
