12 March El . Anna & Lucy to Albany allday/ see the "Thief of Bagdad. " Mary, Pauline,
Gertrude, Mabel & Victoria go to see the same picture at night. El .Anna & Grace
stay with Julia .

13 March El. Anna's birthday is elaborately celebrated with visitors, gifts and a big union
feast, I may say extravagant dinner. Caroline walks out today.

24 March Elder Walter appears p.m., rode from Lebanon in an open car with a friend. Visits
Caroline and me in the evening. Is pleased with" our crystal sets.

25 March Elder Walter goes over to the Chh to look things over, and home p.m.

17 April Hugo takes Jul ia over toDr. Lothridge's to stay for a week.

29 April Julia no better or very littleimproved; Caroline much improved compared with
her condition last December.

7 May v Sisters
clean in Barbara's room, awful job.

8 May ^Folks clean Adelaide's rooms.

3 Sept. Five men to board & lodge - pipeline for gas being laid nearby.

9 Sept. El . Anna and Frieda fix up Henry's room for boss pipeman.

12 Sept. 50 picnickers here p.m. Prepare tables in the yard then (thunderstorm) have to go
Sat. to the sauce kitchen to eat.

16 Sept. 16 men to dinner. Lumberman are back cutting in Shaker woods.

18 Sept. 23 men to feed at noon.

11 Oct. Cold and windy. Men ask for more bedding.

12 Oct. Feed over 30 men; men work with torchl ights until
midnight (on pipel ine).

13 Oct. 33 men to feed. Threshers come to thresh buckwheat.
