20 March Men come with a truck and take away a large load of old furniture to Mr. Anderson
in Pittsfield.

26 March yByron goes to see Hattie foV the last time for she is tobe moved to Poughkeepsie
today. Byron gets his new teeth which/ to date/ with pulling old teeth, cost $92.

28 March Big truckload of old furniture goes to Anderson this week.

5 April Maggie comes to care for Barbara.

13 April -^ Mary makes candy of various kinds almost every day and sells to the "Pre" boys who
bring at least 5 differentdogs with them.

19 t/Men try to improve graveyard and succeed on part of it.

2 May Jennie to the hospital as usual /and for what? For the pleasure of getting away from
home. (Jennie goes to Dr. and hospital twice a week.)

12 May i/Hamilton to Lebanon. Hugo takes him to the trolley at 7:30 a . m .

20 May ^Man here who engages to get 13 tombstones lettered and set in our cemetery.

23 May -/Caroline and Lucy to the airport. See 10 buses loaded with children come to see
the airplanes.

22 June Mr. and Mrs. Karl with Beatrice and Andy arrive at 1:30 p.m. Rest a while and
go over to the airport. All but Mrs. K. go up in the airship. 1 pay $10 of my own
money for the entertainment.

23 June Lucy goes Hvith the Ka rls by car to Mt. Vernon, NY for a vacation.

28 June Grace goes to Rahway/ N.J. by boat fora vacation.

2 July The bridge at the barn is beingrepairs; bought old planks at $1 each.

4 July Guests for July 4th supper. Several go to airport to see the highest fl ier come
down - 19,900 ft. high.

11 July Lucy comes home . Karls took her to Poughkeepsie, Caroline and Frieda met her
at Kingston.

Grace comes home by boat. El . Anna and Mary go to meet her.

El . Anna/ Carol ine/ Lucy and Victoria to West Albany to see wonderful fireworks-
Italian celebration of a religious day.

17 July Caroline and Lucy over to the Pre. Take 75$ in pennies to Miss Harrington for
the children .
