also moneys of sisters' earning.

Jan. Trustees paid $100 toward an addition to schoolhouse at ChF so it would accommodate all
families.
During year "we have dug more than 1 3/4 miles of ditch, mostly on the\sest part of our
farm, bogged several acres and scraped down several sand knolls and cleared several
acres of lowland."

11 July Much damage from hailstorm (as large as hens eggs) including breaking 1200 panes glass.

23 Apr Galen Richmond leaves his wife, gives her house & lot in Troy and Shakes take possession
of his farm and he comes to SF to live*
