3 Jan Brethren turn out to brea^k roads.
7 Jan Very pleasant day. We attended at the Meeting House. A large assembly of spectators
there on account of good sleighing,
13 Mar This morning about 4 we were awakened by cry of fire. The wagon shop was all in
flames and burned to the ground.
21 Mar James Butler left the2d Family to go and live with his mother.
4 Apr "Irish Charlotte came and took away her children,"
7 Apr (Sat) "We had a gift of humiliation and repentence this evening*"
10 Apr (Tues) "We had a powerful meeting this evening."
12-14 "The work of humiliation and repentence was agoing on powerful and our meeting

28 May Stephen and 1 went to Amsterdam to contract for stone for our new house.
30 May Mary Train ran away with Oliver this morning.
1 June Oliver and Mary came back again which caused us to feel sorry and tribulation.
6 June Amos James and Lydia'Culver came here to see Oliver and Mary Train and to tryto
get Oliver away with them .
7 June Amos & Lydia went away and Mary with them.
9 June Oliver Train went away this morning.
16 June Hezekiah and Issachar are "stoneing the shop cellar,"
27 June Two brethren set off for Stephen town to take Mary Train her clothes and bedding.
7 July (Sat) James Chapman's son George came to visit.
11 July James took George to Troy.
Author goes to mill at river to saw broom handles.
7 Sept "Elder Brother and I went to the river to quarry stone."
17 Sept v "1 went to see the Ministry this a.m. Hannah Train and Mary rejected.
18 Sept /Hannah set off for Albany this morning but got no further than the CF in the rain.
7 Dec The CF started their saw mill.
