7 June We don't go to the Meeting House but have our meeting at the Fountain. SF did also.
18 June "Had a gift to pray for rain this evening."
19 June Heavy thunderstorm, 1 1/2" rain.
18 July Jesse went to see the Ministry (who were theffcfrom Lebanon) "to gather love to take
to Groveland."
19 July (Sab) "Inour afternoon meeting we gather of the family's love to take to Groveland, expecting
Jesse, Emeline and Paulina to set off in the morning on the canal." (Returned Aug. 6)
27 July Justice upset his load of hay and got hurt.
(Handwriting had changed on 20 July and goes back to this writing on Aug 7 so this
would seem to indicate that Jesse is the author of this journal.)

17 Aug Melvm's little brother, Alvin Numan, came to live at WF.
24 Aug Adeline Manchester died about 11:45 p.m.
25 Aug Adeline's funeral.
31 Aug William Seely, Asa and sisters went to Mohawk River togather bloodroot.
22 Sept "A solemn day of cleansing byth outdoors and in, kept in obedience to the Lord God
of heaven and in remembrance of Holy Mother Wisdom's searching work. "
24 Sept Eldress Poll^Vedder's funeral at CF at 2:30.
"Had a very good meeting and a very good privilege."
20 Oct Augustus*Blase went to Cleveland on a visit. (Returned Nov. 6.)
22 Oct "The brethren at SF caught two thieves last night and took them to Albany jail this
