11 Nov A young German, Johan Smith, came and said he wanted to
live with us. He is a tailor by trade.
13 Nov We took 2 boys fr^om Vermont - Robert and Newton Owen.

23 Nov Shubel took Calvin Reynolds to Schenectady and put him
on the cars for the West.
2 Dec Augustus and James Hilton go for pipestems.
