C. Miller and I went to offer our river farm for sale.
Went to Schenectady and signed lease with Wm. Scarff
for lease of Rosendale Farm at $900 per year and the mill for
half.
6 Jan Have bought a cast iron grist mill and begin to use it.
John Decker and hired men begin to get dirt off quarry.
7 Jan I sold 9 cattle for $208.
15 Jan CF has taken 42 sheep, 4 colts and-3 steers of WF and
NF has taken 3 heifers to keep through the winter.
3 Feb Sold river farm to CF for $4200.
4 Feb Sold pair of oxen for $180.
6-10 Feb Making plans for new barn.
11 Feb Lucy^Horton died.
12 Feb Isaac^went to NY with Galen Richmond of SF - his first
trip as business agent.
15 Feb Are cutting and drawing timber, getting out. and drawing
stones. ,
21 Mar Erneline Clark died. "She was terribly frightened by
the fire of the barn last October and soon after laid
up."
27 Mar Our bes/t horse died - worth $200.
1 Apr Calvin Reynolds here from Thursday to Monday to see his
sick mother and her grandson is here now.
14 Apr John Decker and co. began scraping out the barn cellar.
15 Apr Mathew Messner, a German, lived at Whitewater a year,
came here to be taken in.
1 May Brought all our stock home fromjihe CF and NF that they
have kept for us during the winter.

5 June Brother from Lebanon CF brought them a $300 donation.
14 June Elder Daniel Boler and Giles^Avery of Lebanon Ministry
have worked on the barn this week.
