with her at our request. Emily had started a fire on
Rachel/McDonald's stand which might have burned down

12 Nov Boys' school started. Lewis Funk teacher.

little broom and brush making, is about all that is
going on now."
Have not made any cider this year. Too dry, there are
no apples for it.
3 Dec Mathew Messner helps wash again.
6 Dec Jeremiah^Lowe quit work some time ago because his right
hand trembles badly. His brother, Sandy, has been here
about two weeks. "We gave him $15 to get him off."
