19 March Sisters packed up 52 doz. bonnets for New York market
21 Apr, James Wilkins & James Hilton went to Charlton to get pipe stems
18 Aug. Shubel Prentiss takes Mary Delvin & Sarah Jane Adams to Albany. 'They have
turned their sense to please themselves."

9 June Jarnes Freely has gone to the world from whence he came.
10 July Mercury "at blud heat."
11 July A very heavy hail storm. Hail fell from 2 to 3 inches in length. Itbroke
from 5 to 6 hundred panes of glass for us,
12 July A very heavy rain. Ithas rained 5 inches in 24 hours.
21 July Eldress.aster and Nancy clean 6 boxes of glass,
1 Sept, A day of celebration among the world. The telegraph laid across the Atlantic.
6 Oct. Catherine Darnph fell from the garret window of our dwell ing house at 4 a.m..
and breathed her last at 7:30 a.m. Aged 57.
13 Oct. There is a large comet to be seen every night for some time.
11 Oct. & 17 PameMaEarl & Mary Train went to Doctor Wade's "to watch with his woman. "
26 Oct.. Several attended funeral of Doctor Wade's wife.
Sun., Nov. 21 and every year on one of the early Sundays in November: "We have the yearly
giftto open our minds."

( Jan. 27 James Maloon & Catherine Macgraw ran away to Niskayuna & got married.
(Were married by the minister of the Niskayuna Reformed Church .)
28 Jan. We settled with James and he and Catherine went away, he said to Cleveland,
