10 April Elder Giles came up from Lebanon. "Some trouble at Church Family with
Lewis Funk. He is trying to get his wages forkeeping school and has sued
Philip Smith, the Church trustee."
11 April Lewis Funk and his boy went to the world today from the Church Family.
19 April "Eldress Alvira & Rachel McDonald take the cars forTroy this morning to see
a young woman named Carrie Williams from Poughkeepsie, now stopping In
Troy. She wants to be a Shaker. "
4 July Go in Church's wood to have a picnic, rain drove us all home.
26 July Eldress Alvira and the girls went down to South Family to see them make shirts.
25 Aug. John Decker brought home a machine to cut sweet corn today.
29 Aug. String beans all day.
1 Sept. We have a picnic today. Looks likerain so have our picnic in the barn.

4 Oct. Sarah Drumm goes to Parrotville, a mile or two from here, to see her niece
this afternoon. The young folks go along with her for a I ittle ride.
5 Oct. A very large comet to be seen mornings in the sky.
20 Oct. Label 262 doz. cans string beans.
21 Dec. (Thu) "We learn thru James Ldngridge that the office at 2nd Family Mt. Lebanon
was burned to the ground Tuesday.
22 Dec. Further particulars about fire - "Sister Ann Eliza Coburn died last evening
from burns received while going into the burning bu ilding to secure some
valuable papers. "

1 Jan. George Price and Caty Ferguson here from 2d Order (North Family) "toboil

23 Jan. "W.W. Cole of 605 Broadway, Albany here... brought one dozen shirts to
show our folkshow to make trim. We expect to make shirts for his firm."
26 Jan. "Aaron takes Eldress Alvira Conklin, Mary Ann Mathews and Agnes Baker to
Albany. Carry in the shirts and bring out two new Wheeler & Wilson machines."
29 Jan. South Family folks out of dry wood, come up here and get 3 or 4 loads of wood.
Our folks most all sick with colds.
31 Jan. Eldress Alvira goes down to South Family to get them to help us finish the
shirts agreed to be taken in this week.

9 Feb. Go to Albany with 14 doz. shirts and 10 doz. collars. Brought home 6 doz.
shirts and 10 doz. collars.
17 Feb. Aaron takes 6 doz. shirts and 8 doz. collars to Albany, brings back 2 doz.
shirts and 10 doz. collars.
18 Feb. Good many of the folks down with influenza and colds.
20 Feb. Take to Albany 2 doz. shirts and bring out 12 doz. more.

23 Mar. Took 12 doz, shirts to Albany, brought home 8 doz.
28 Mar. Brought home 26 doz. shirts

5 April (Thu) Took 16 doz. shirts to Albany. "A couple of men here to tell Sarah Drumm
that her daughter Lydia was hooked in the eye by her cow Tuesday night."
17 Apr. Sarah Drumm "goes to the world" with her 2 children, Mary & Nealle.
