The woman gave the name of Margaret Depew, the man Waterman Loring.

Mary Druse confined in prison, accused of helping to murder her father. She
Is said to be innocent of the charge."
Margaret Depew and the man she calls her brother leave here this a.m.
15 Sept. Dr. Frank O. Mathews, the medium, his wife, a blind man his patient and
the bl ind man's wife here. We have a sitting with them,
20 Sept. Fannie Edie's mother and aunt here from Troy and she goes away with them.

2 Oct. Sarah Drum and her daughter Nelia here from Guilderland. "Nelia wants
to come back here to I ive so we take her on trial."

to have his leg examined, has a large bunch growing just below the knee.

11 Jan. Wed Letter from South Family Lebanon tells that at 8:45 p.m. last Saturday a fire
was discovered in their chair factory and Brother George Smart was found
suffocated. "Itis supposed he dropped the lamp and so set fire."

28 Jan. Stillblowing snow. No mail since Thursday as railroads are all blocked.

1 Mar. Elder Isaac went to Albany with a wagon for the first time since sleighing began.
6 Mar. Annie Troidel chooses to return to the world. Peter Smith takes her to
Ntskayuna to Lev! Strong's where she worked last summer. (jZZ^^
12 Mar. Began snowing and blowing yesterday and continues all today.
13 Mar. Still snowing and blowing, roads and dooryards drifted terribly. Some places
in dooryard snow is 10 feet high. It takes Elder Isaac and the men all their
time to shovel out the paths and tend to the stock.
14 Mar. Storm finally stopped lastnight and today is fair and pleasant. Elder Isaac
and his men, Henry George and his men from South Family, spend whole day
