12 Dec. Elder Josiah Barker here from Church Family to fix clocks. Stays this evening,
we have singing meeting to learn some of his new songs.
30 Dec. Sun The big horse Moses ran away this a.m. while going down to Church Family
for meeting. No one hurt but all badly frightened. The only damage--the
wagon broke some.
31 Dec. No snow to be seen anywhere. Does not look much like winter.

7 Jan. Butcher 3 beef creatures. Hester "takes the burden" as Eldress Alvrra has been
suffering a bad cold. "The men get the fat offthe inwards at the barn so that
relieves the Sisters ofconsiderable."
8 Jan. "Cut fat and try it out today."
10 Jan. Grind sausage meat today,
11 Jan. About througrtthe butchering. 190 Ibs. sausage meat.
15 Jan. Sarah Soule here from "Elisha'sKill" to spendafew days.

15 Feb. " Alice Sharp comes out of the Cook Room, Emma Camindae and Lillie Cook go
in to cook, Alice packing her things to move to North Family so as to give
Sarah Neal a chance to come out of the Bake Room at North Family and fit
herself as a school teacher.
4 March This evening Eldress Alvira, Rachel M., Almira Teachout and Hester Crandall
go over to Watervliet Centre to attend a seance at Dr. Lothridge's, Mrs,
Huntoon materializing medium.
6 March Emma Caminade starts for Philadelphia with her boy Frazier, 8 yrs. old. He
does not want to stay.
9 March Annie Wack goes to the world to hunt a place for herself and husband.
19 March Albert Lomas of North Family is dangerously ill.
Annie Wack's little boy Richard goes to live with her.
21 March Albert Lomas dies. 50 years old.
24 March Lomas1 funeral. 300 or more of world's people attend.
Michael Wack goes to see Annie
27 March Michael comes back and begins to pack his things.
29 March Michael leaves to livewith Annie.

5 April Elder Isaac goes to Albany to meet Emma Caminade. She has been in Phila.
the past four weeks.
9 Apr, Elder Isaac and Paul take a load of Emma's things to Albany, ship some to her
brother In Ptttsfield and some to Washington, DC.
10 Apr. Emma and her daughter Daisy "go back to the world."
13 Apr, A man from Gloversville with his daughter, Maud Vandenbergh, 11 yrs. old.
"At his request we take the girl on trial."

7 May Girls' school starts with Sarah Neal as teacher.
16 May Sarah Neal is togo to Mt, Lebanon today by advice of Elder Calvin Reed, to
study for teacher. Will be gone six weeks.
21 May Girls' school closed.
23 May Sarah Neal leftfor Mt. Lebanon,
27 May Elder Isaac and Ozias Bogart go to West Troy to get a certificate for Eva Larkin
to teach school.
28 May Girls 1 schoolstarts again.
