26 June Eldress Rosette from South Family to ask Elder Isaac to get a butter worker for
Clarissa. Elder Isaac brings one home for them tonight from Schenectady.

11 July Elder Isaac and hired men have drawn 30 loads of hay from ox pasture near
west orchard.
End of July and first part of August, the Family is stringing and canning beans.
Several days Eldress Roset'tacomes from South Family with several of her young
girls to help.

13 Aug. Elder Isaac, Eldress Alvira, Hester Crandall and Harriet Jones go to Albany
and "down the riverto Coeymans for a sail . "
23 Aug. We put up 106 doz. cans string beans and 20 doz. cans tomatoes.

5 Sept. Girls's school closes.
'Sept. 20 Alice Sharp comes back from North Family "as she does not like to live there."
Eldress Alvira went over after her.
8 Oct. Eldress Alvira, Agnes Baker and Emily Conkl ing and Sister Annie Case from
South Family go to Albany to take train to Philadelphia.
4 Nov. Eldress Alvira and Agnes return.
29 Nov. Eldress Rosetta from South Family tells that Charles Rice, a man who had lived
with them past three months, ran away the night before with Frances Leeson,
16 years old.

4 Dec. Elder Isaac goes to Karners and takes train to N,Y. on business.
South Family folks went after Frances Leeson and brought her home; an officer
arrested Charles Rice and took him to jail .
6 Dec. Elder Isaac returned home 9 a.m.
8 Dec. Butcher 4 oxen and two cows.
9 Dec, Cut fat and sausage meat.
10 Dec. Cut sausage meat.
11 Dec. Grind and pack sausage meat - 420 Ibs.
14 Dec. Sun. "Day devoted to the yearly sacrifice."
15 Dec, Frances Leeson left the South Family again. "Her grandfather and two officers
came and took her. Glad the South Family have got rid of her so easily, "
18 Dec, Feaful stormy day. Snows and blows furiously all day,
19 Dec. Elder Isaac and the hired men breaking roads.
21 Dec. Sun. After they got to Church meeting, "Eldress Harriet called Elder Isaac to see
Elder Giles, he is very faad offwith bladder trouble. " Elder Isaac sends, a
team to Albany with Dr. Lothridge after Dr.- Vandeveer. Vandeveer's associate
Dr. Marcellus comes; relieves Elder Giles at once. Elder Isaac stayed with
Elder Giles and will stay all night. '
22 Dec. Elder Isaac comes home, Giles is slightlybetter. Isaac goes back. Elders
Ozias and Josiah Barker will staytonight.
23 Dec. Elder Ozias came about 5 a.m. toget Isaac touse catheter. Isaac startsfor
Albany at 11 a.m. to get things for Christmas. After supper, Isaac goes to
Church Family, he and Josiah will stay with Giles the night.
24 Dec. Isaac home before breakfast. Goes back during the day.
25 Dec. Christmas. Very cold, 10 o'clock meeting in dining room, Isaac takes Alvira
and Rachel to see Giles. Isaac and Samuel Fellows, one of Church Family hired
