15 July At North Family, men digging a well near the barn for windmill to furnish
water for cattle.
9 Aug. Rachel M. taken sick with "cholera morbus." Go for Dr. Lothridge at 1 a.m.
He comes at 2 a.m., again at 9 a.m., and In evening.
21 Aug. Thomas^Beal, aged 87, drowned himself in quarry at North Family; he had been
suffering with bladder trouble.
Julia M. and Sarah Neal came over after dark and got Elder Isaac to go see
about getting the body out of the water.
25 Aug. Laying pipe to bring water to the kitchen.

8 Sept. Grace Knack and her sister Annie Troidel here this p.m.
14 Sept, Nancy Wicks tripped on a mat in the Office cellar and fell, hurting herself
quite badly. 85 years old.
19 Sept. Dr. Lothridge here to see Nancy--her arm bothers her.
1 Oct. Elder Isaac goes to Groveland to see about some young cattle.
11 Oct. Elder Isaac goes to Niskayuna to bring home some cows shipped from Groveland.
12 Oct. Elder Isaac goes to Niskayuna and West Albany about cows. They were shipped
to West Albany. 'Made Elder Isaac considerable trouble." Herdsman came with
them, goes back next day.
19 Oct. We go to South Family this evening to learn Elder Josiah's wefcome song for
Groveland people.
21 Oct. Go to Albany to see "Columbian parade."
27 Oct. Elder Isaac went to Albany to meet things from Groveland, waited until 7 p.m.,
then came home. Things came to Niskayuna instead,
28 Oct. Elder Isaac, Will Letso and Joe Smith with West Family teams, one team each
from Church and South Families, go to Niskayuna to get Groveland furniture.
Haul 13 loads. Elder Isaacstayed at Niskayuna all day to supervise unloading.
Elder Joseph and Ministry are at North Family cleaning. Eldress Alvira, Rachel,
Mary and Maud go to help along with Susie and Maggie from South Family.
29 Oct. Same party back at North Family cleaning. North Family all move out and go
to Church Family.
30 Oct. Sun Ministry fumigate North Family with brimstone.
31 Oct. Go again to North Family to clean kitchen and cellars. Elder Isaac and Joe
Smith go to Albany to meet Groveland people. Lydia Dale, Elizabeth Dell,
Justine Budine and boy Charlie Sylvester stay at West Family; Eldress Polly Lee,
Elizabeth Sidell, Elnora DeGraw and the girl Agnes Stebbins stay at South /- y \.


11 Elder Isaac with three teams moving another carload of Groveland things from
Niskayuna--potatoes, range, etc.
15 Elder Isaac and teams draw Groveland goods from Niskayuna Station - 4 carloads.
16 Finish drawing Groveland things. Elder Isaac goes to Albany to meet Elder
Alexander Work and other people from Groveland. Hired a hack for Sophronia
Dole, Lavina Dutche4"/ Susan Love and Jerusha Truair; he brought Elder Alex-
