29 July Sister Alvira returns from Fhila. Brings two sisters on a visit,
and a girl to stay. Canned beans.
1 Aug /Galen Richmond of SF died while eating supper. Had been working all
day and seemed to feel as well as usual.
5 Aug Draw cans from Albany.
59 8 Aug Picked tomatoes for canning, first this season.
9 Aug Canned tomatoes - 80 dozen.
60 27 Aug Dried corn, canned plums. Amanda & Lizzy returned to Fhila. A
little frost in low places.
62 2 Oct Meeting home. Eldress Ann & Harriet here in the afternoon. Nellie
Drum taken back.
4 Oct Canned tomatoes. Elder Giles & Elder H. C. Blinn make us a visit.
63 2 Nov Plow. Saw lumber. Sisters label tomatoes.
22 Nov Eldress Alvira & Rachel to Albany. I take Mary & Nelly Drum to their
mother. This finishes the Drums. Blustery day.
1 Jan 1888 Meeting at home. Rains all day & the snow is melting fast.
All told, 5 brethren & 14 sisters.

14 Jan Draw coal. SI go with H. George to buy 25 79/100 acres of land -
Rotterdam farm for $26,000.

his children, boy 7 and girl 4. Plow.
76 25 July Can beans. A woman named Lizzy here from Fhila. to live. Ministry
returned to Lebanon.
1 Aug Draw in oats. J. Dickson goes dead beat.
77 20 Aug Wortk on new road for our west farm.
