16 Jan Eldress Alvira & Rachel to Albany to see Dr. Hailes about Rachel's hand. Will
Letso drove the team.

17 Jan Very fair and pleasant today. Angie Cox called here. Stanton Buckingham died at
ChF at noon today of la grippe. Age 92 yrs.

18 Jan Quite a high wind today. Blows hard this afternoon. Elder Isaac starts todayfor
Rutland, Vt. to get stones for graveyard. From there goes to Enfield, NH to make
a short visit to the Society ofBelievers there.

3 19 Jan Beautiful fair weather* Attend the funeral of Bro. Stanton. - a worthy brother and
a sainted father in Israel.

27 Jan Fair & clear* Elder Isaac goes with butteras usual.

5 14 Feb After dinner Elder Joseph and Elder Isaac go to Schty to see about some broom corn
for the Lebanon people.

17 Feb Pleasant this a.m. This p.m* blows like a hurricane. Elder Isaac and Will Letso
went with butter to Albany,

6 4 Mar Elder Isaac sick with a cold* Eldrss Alvira send Dr. Lothridge over here to see him.

7 13 Mar Elder Isaac takes Rachel to Albany to see Dr. about hand* Eldress Alvira goes with
her* Frank Genoa drove the team.

8 22 May Elder Isaac starts this p.m. forVt. to get the gravestones lettered, & to see about
a separator for the dairy. Mary Davis, an old woman, comes here.

9 Apr Rachel stillgoing to Dr. for her hand,

6 Apr Cold & windy* Elder Isaac sets up separator for milk in the engine room at the barn,
but has not got belting enough so postpones it. Davis came here Wed. with his men
to look at dairy preparatory to repairing itfor a creamery. They do some plastering.

11 Apr Cold. Move one of the creamers out of the dairy* We have only the cream now
brought to the dairy. The Ministry leave for Hancock*

10 15 Apr Elder Isaac pulls some teeth for the children this p.m.
Sun.
16 Apr Elder Isaac goes after Dr. Lothridge to come and see Carey Wiley, one of the little
girls. The cavity left by her tooth being drawn has bled all night long and still
bleeds at 8:30 a.m. Brother Isaac sent a remedy but one of the men here, a car-
penter, who practiced as a physician for 18 years, prescribed turpentine and that
stopped the bleeding. The man's name is Paul Roach.
