11 24 Apr Elder Alexander Work starts today for Groeeland or Sonyea to see about putting in
crops.

1 May Elder Isaac goes to Groveland to assist Elder Work.

(During first week of May Dr. Lothridge calls 3 times on Eldress Alvira.)

13 23 May Elder Isaac and hired men move the engine from the engine house at barn to the new
place at old dairy, not to be called the creamery. So we have to take the milk in
pans in Ferguson creamery until they get the place completed.

14 29 May Sarah Neal to the Teachers' Institute at Altamont - no more school this week.

15 7 Jun Cool with showers. Elder Isaac takes Eldress Alvira & Rachel to West Troy. Margaret
Flieddie goes along* Left herjtf there & go on to Albany to Dr. Haile to have him see
Rachel's hand that the cat bit last Oct. Itis improving fast, but is still stiff
in joints.

8 Jun Alpha Remington here with a 10 year old colored boy.

15 June Elder Isaac brought Frank G. Powers out from Albany this evening. He came on the
day boat from NY = he is from San Diego, Cal. His mother lived here 30 yrs or so
ago. Her name was Cornelia Rogers.
(Dr. Lothridge is still visiting Eldress Alvira.)

17 Jun Dr. Frank G. Powers attends meeting at ChF with us.

17 20 June Fair & warm. Churninrtas usual at the creamery.

3 July We bake cake, pies for picnic tomorrow. Steve & Freddy Troys here from Troy.
Rachel M* goes down to invite SF to the picnic.

18 4 July The NF & our family go out in the ChF's woods to have a picnic for our dinner. Soon
after, itcommenced to rain e We all went over to the SF , spoke pieces, sang and
played on the organ, etc. The ChF joined us there and we all took supper there.
Elder Alexander returned from Groveland.

19 12 July "Susan Love's funeral at NF.

18 July Wm Ebenger takes his two children, Willie &Lina, and leaves here today. He has
been very quarrelsome with the brethren of late and Elder Isaacsent him away.
Pick beans today.

24 July Elder Isaac takes J.S. McDonald to Albany - he saijsj)for
Europe on the "Teutonic."

21 31 July The men & help finish the oats at suppertirne and after supper go over the river.
Thrashed 1000 bu. of aots.

10 Aug Very warm. Put up 126 doz. cans of string beans.

15 Aug Put up 80 doz. string beans.
