                                    to  look   at  some  land   there .offered    for  sale   at  a  low price .

                                    Ben 3.  Gates   thinks   a  Society   of  Shakers    might   be  started   there

              30     27 Nov          Elder   Isaac   arrived   in  Albany    today  from   his  long   trip.    Has

                                     been   to  Florida,    Tenn.,  Kentucky,     Ohio  and   Penn.
<br>

              31     3  Dec          Lavinia    Dutcher,   NF,   goes  to  Catskill    to  spend   winter   with
<br>
                                     her  sister.
<br>

              32     17  Dec         Elder   Isaac   has  letter   from   C.  N.  Parent,   one  of   the  agents

                                     for  the   Florida   Land   Co.   He  is  from   Chicago   & will    be  in
<br>
                                     Albany   this   afternoon.

<b>21  Dec</b>         Elder   Isaac   goes  to  Albany   to  get   pay  for  the  apples    the  men

                                     bought.     They  meet   at  Keeler's    Hotel   and  there   Elder   Isaac

                                     met  Elder   Joseph   unexpectedly     & Elder    Alexander Work.       They
<br>
                                     talk  over   business    concerning    them.   Elder   Isaac   had   the men
<br>
                                     bring   home   feed  from   Burhans,     Geo.  Burhans    has  made   an
<br>
                                     assignment    to  P . L.  Eastman.
