1 Nov Brothers finish shingling the Stone Shop.

17 Nov "The shop comes along very slowly."
20 Nov Chauncey C. and Thos. Wells gofto see about glass for the shop.
24 Nov "We sisters arise at 2 this morning and go to our work."

4 Dec Begin to put in windows in Stone Shop.
18 Dec Brethren killed 24 hogs today, average 320 Ibs. each.
19 Dec Borrow a machine from Schenectady to grind meat, grind 700 Ibs

13 Mar Morre I I and Fred attend Legislature and 4 sisters with them.
15 Mar A load from West Family attend court today.
17 Mar 12 Assembly members attend public meeting, including Speaker
and his lady.
21 Mar John Dean and Fred take some sisters to Legislature.
22 Mar I finish 12 more baskets - 3 doz. this year.
27 Mar Elder Brother & Fred to Legislature with 4 sisters.
13 Apr "They say the bill has passed the House. Amen."
14 Apr 12 attend out meeting., "the Speaker of the Assembly and with
him the Speaker from Philadelphia and 4 others from same place."
17 Apr "Chauncey C., Clarissa V. and Moriah T. has took up their
baggage to go somewhere or other to sell some bonnets."
21 Apr "We look for great many; but there comes but few of the Assembly

31 Jul "I finish my piece of pocket handkerchief. It is 37 yards long
and makes 62 handkerchiefs."
1 Aug Issachar Bates fell from a building and hurt himself.

16 Aug Sisters finish spinning on the jenny for this year.
23 Aug Catherine V and Jennet A. have drunk some poison tea & are
very sick.
28 Aug "I go info the NOrth Chamber to live and with great pleasure
lay aside my deaconess-ship."
31 Aug Ministry return to New Lebanon and fake little Jane Reynolds
with them .
24 Sept Workmen have come to lath and plaster the Stone Shop.
2 Oct DAB, Catherejne V and Jennet A went after herbs.
24 Oct Sisters went after wintergreen.
25 Oct Masons finish plastering and leave.
30 Oct North Family move into their new house today.
18 Nov "To the old tan house I must go, there to take my station in
learning to weave tape; tho not my own choice but to obey
my Deaconess will and voice, and that I must do with great
pleasure."
19 Nov Brethren kill 14 hogs; have 340 Ibs. of sausage meat.
13 Dec I finish weaving the chair bottoms; 5 pieces & 74 yards in
each p i ece.
18 Dec Brethren kill 2 beef.
19 Dec Brethren kill 10 old hogs and 8 pigs; 250 Ibs. "link meat."
25 Dec Christmas. "As usual we give an offering to the poor."

2 Jan Eunice J. and Betsy H. hetcheled some flax and 18-20 sisters
went to carding tow. We card 2 days,30-40 wgt.
17 Jan 30 below zero.
25 Jan Jesse H. comes home something awful tore I ate. Little
Tommy has sealed his fate and to the worid he goes. Elder
Brother and Fred W. went to Albany with h i m .
31 Jan Abigail White of SF broke'.her arm.
1 FEb "This evening we assemble together to be spoken to in relation
to the change that is to take place, Elder Sister Prudence has
requested to be released and Sister Polly has taken her place
and Mor i ah Treadway has gone to Irve with her."
12 Feb Elder Brother and Fred W. went to Albany to see Legislature,
something going on about the bill again.
16 Feb (Sunday) As usual we assemble in Meeting House. The Speaker
of Assembly and 4 other gentlemen attend out meeting and come
i nto the house.
17 Feb Take Ruth Whipple to her mother in West Troy. Can't find her
br i ng Ruth back.
21 Feb Jesse H. goes info Elder's lot, Stanton to Office.
